This is a full-time position with flexible hours that include nights, weekends and holidays. The House Manager is responsible for assisting the QIDP in client healthcare/nutrition and household management for a group home of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities include client finances, recreation, program services, family involvement, education/vocational programs, and staffing. Must have complete knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, communicate, and enforce them to staff. Must be able to train, coach, assign duties, meet goals and department expectations and encourage others. Key to this position is time management, exceptional oral, written and organizational skills. House Manager must also provide 16 hours per week of direct service and have a cell phone.
Prefer college degree or coursework in related fields in Human Services, Psychology, or Social Work. The right person will have compassion and one-year plus experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities, preferred.
TradeWinds Services has a full-time opening for a licensed Registered Nurse (BA in Nursing) to be responsible for the overall medical management of adults with developmental and physical disabilities residing in our group homes. The right person will have the compassion and previous experience to work with adults with disabilities.
The Residential Nurse is responsible for developing and enforcing health policies and procedures to ensure compliance; provide ongoing education/training to staff; maintain and order medical supplies; performs health assessments on participants; protect individuals’ rights, including protection against abuse, neglect or exploitation; make the appropriate referrals and communications to the clients’ physician; participate in development, review, and update of a client’s health status and assessment.
Documentation requirements include Medical Administration and Record Keeping: administers medication to adult participants and records on medication form. Process incident reports as needed and required.
Hours: Part-Time position - Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - estimated a few days per week. Dates would be scheduled week-to-week and number of days per week may vary.
Description of Position: Move material between sewing stations based on the next sewing operation step. Continual watch for sewing operators on each garment line to see who will signal that their finished work needs to move to the next operation. Quick response to sewing operators will affect a smooth flow of work. Record quantities of bundles taken off cut material racks before giving to sewing operators. Make observations of fabric and garment parts to check if there are obvious dirt or tears.
Education/Certification Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Required: Previous work experience with adults with disabilities is favorable. Bi-Lingual: English and Spanish is favorable.

Description of Position: The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in developing and implementing a program of activities that promote the social, emotional and physical development of each child enrolled in a group. The assistant teacher is also responsible for maintaining the health and safety of all children in their care.
Additional Responsibilities: Assist Lead Teacher in maintaining records on each child’s progress and development for the purpose of planning and compliance with Head Start Standards and utilization of Teaching Strategies Gold. Developing and implementing lesson plans in collaboration with the Lead Teacher using Creative Curriculum. Responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher with the full implementation of Head Start, Paths to Quality, Indiana Early Childcare Licencing Regulations, TradeWinds Services policies and procedures. Observe each child daily to assess skills in TS Gold. Establish a positive relationship with each child’s family and share information about the child’s day at the Center.
Education Requirements: Minimum CDA, Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education; Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
Department: Industries – Sewing
Hours: Must be available Monday – Friday (times may vary)
Description of Position: Sew disposable coveralls, cloth smocks, tunics, and women’s slacks. Industrial sewing machine used including single needle, double needle, lockstitch, blind stitch. Required to maintain high quality while increasing production level to 90% minimum of standard rate.
Education Requirements: High school diploma preferred.
Experience Required: Technical sewing skills required. Experience of 1-2 years industrial sewing preferred. Skill level will be tested at interview.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Description of Position: Supervise the adult participants in the lunchroom/break area during scheduled morning breaks, lunch periods and afternoon breaks. Monitors adult participants’ behaviors by circulating and interacting with participants during lunch and break periods; encouraging participants to move about the room in an orderly fashion. Reports all adult participant injuries, accidents, illnesses, and behavior problems to the appropriate authority immediately, and as soon as reasonably possible completes written documentation of any of these occurrences.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required: Prefer past experience working with children or adults with disabilities. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Education Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma, however, preference will be given to individuals that hold CNA, MA or Associates degrees in social services or related field.
Experience Required: Preferably 1-year experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.

Description of Position: The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional is responsible for the monitoring, integration, implementation and coordination of services consisting of a comprehensive functional assessment of the program services. Ultimately, the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional is responsible for ensuring the provisions of a consistent and aggressive active treatment program for the consumers. The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional also supervises the House Managers and works cooperatively with the residential nurses.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related academic disciplines (e.g., psychology, sociology, education and human development).
Experience Required: Prior experience in developing and implementing individual programs, program evaluations, and working in a team environment. Must have good decision-making and time management skills and be responsible, mature, and flexible.

Description of Position: Responsible for evaluating, planning, organizing and providing services for individuals with disabilities enrolled in the program who are seeking community employment. The focus of the primary job duties may vary based on the agency needs but includes: Job readiness instruction, discovery profiles, situational assessments, job development, and job coaching.
Education/Certification Requirements: High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred in Social Services or related field
Experience Required: Must have strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities. Must be able to take direction and function as a team player. Must have excellent writing and verbal skills. Must have good decision-making and time management skills and be responsible, mature, and flexible. One to three years’ experience working with diverse populations is preferred.
