Description of Position: Responsible for the appearance, safety, and maintenance of the main center and residential sites owned by TradeWinds. Plan & perform maintenance for all sites owned/operated by TradeWinds Services Inc.
Education Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of building trades, must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience Required: Experience in industrial and institutional maintenance repairs, experience with building trades, and the ability to use power tools/maintenance equipment.

Description of Position: Responsible for providing services for individuals with disabilities enrolled in the program who are seeking community employment. The primary job duties may vary based on the agency needs but includes: job readiness instruction, discovery profiles, situational assessments, job development, and job coaching at the job site.
Education/Certification Requirements: High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred in Social Services or related field.
Experience Required: Must have strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities, be able to take direction and function as a team player. Must have excellent writing and verbal skills, good decision-making and time management skills, be responsible, mature, and flexible. One to three years’ experience working with diverse populations is preferred.

Description of Position: Assisting individuals with disabilities employed in the community with job site training and job coaching related to assessments, employment advocacy, and other services needed to maintain their employment. Utilizing structured intervention techniques to help the participating employee learn to perform job tasks to the employer’s specification. Will perform Community Habilitation Individual Services (CHIO), which involves assisting participants in a manner that supports learning in the areas of self-care, sensory/motor development, socialization, daily living skills, communication, community living, and social skills. Community-based activities are intended to build relationships and natural supports.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Required: Prefer past experience working with adults with disabilities. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Additional Information: Must be able to pass motor vehicle report criteria, criminal background check, and drug screening.
Department: ADAPT & Pre-Vocational Services

Oversee ADAPT (Adult Day Activity Program & Training), Pre-Vocational Services, and subcontracted transportation services to remain in compliance with all State regulatory agencies and meet the needs of the adults enrolled. Provide oversight to ADAPT & Pre-Voc Trainers, Case Manager Lead, ADAPT & Pre-Voc Case Managers, Lunch Monitors, and Community Volunteer Training staff in both the main center and TradeWinds East building. Monitor implementation of curriculum for ADAPT and Pre-Vocational programs. Track program evaluation outcome measures for each program.
Education Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
Experience Required: Minimum three years working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; Curriculum writing experience preferred.

Description of Position: Responsible for coordinating agency services that enable an individual with developmental disabilities to receive a full range of appropriate services in a planned, coordinated, efficient and effective manner to promote the well being of the individual. Responsible for locating, managing, coordinating, and monitoring all proposed services for each individual. Responsible for making recommendations for needed medical, social, educational, and informal community supports needed by the eligible person within the day services programs at TradeWinds. Responsible for coordinating with external state case managers to assure funding is received adequate for planned services provided by TradeWinds.
Education Requirements: Minimum: Associate Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Description of Position: Prepare and perform check runs; reconcile accounts payable transactions; prepare analysis of accounts; maintain schedule/ledger for all reoccurring payable; maintain vendor accounts; review and verify invoices and check requests; receive, issue, and maintain ledger for all Purchase Order Requests; sort, code and match invoices, packing slips and purchase orders; track expenses and process expense reports; correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries; produce monthly reports; provide supporting documentation for audits; assist with month end closing; maintain compliance with required deadlines; and maintain all information with superior level of confidentiality. Must be able to organize and prioritize; pay attention to detail and accuracy; have good problem-solving skills, ability to meet deadlines; and must be a team player.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent some college preferred.
Experience Required: Knowledge of accounts payable, knowledge of general accounting procedures, knowledge of relevant accounting software proficient in data entry and management and 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.

Description of Position: The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in developing and implementing a program of activities that promote the social, emotional and physical development of each child enrolled in a group. The assistant teacher is also responsible for maintaining the health and safety of all children in their care.
Additional Responsibilities: Assist Lead Teacher in maintaining records on each child’s progress and development for the purpose of planning and compliance with Head Start Standards and utilization of Teaching Strategies Gold. Developing and implementing lesson plans in collaboration with the Lead Teacher using Creative Curriculum. Responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher with the full implementation of Head Start, Paths to Quality, Indiana Early Childcare Licencing Regulations, TradeWinds Services policies and procedures. Observe each child daily to assess skills in TS Gold. Establish a positive relationship with each child’s family and share information about the child’s day at the Center.
Education Requirements: Minimum CDA, Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education; Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
Department: Industries – Sewing
Hours: Must be available Monday – Friday (times may vary)
Description of Position: Sew disposable coveralls, cloth smocks, tunics, and women’s slacks. Industrial sewing machine used including single needle, double needle, lockstitch, blind stitch. Required to maintain high quality while increasing production level to 90% minimum of standard rate.
Education Requirements: High school diploma preferred.
Experience Required: Technical sewing skills required. Experience of 1-2 years industrial sewing preferred. Skill level will be tested at interview.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Description of Position: Supervise the adult participants in the lunchroom/break area during scheduled morning breaks, lunch periods and afternoon breaks. Monitors adult participants’ behaviors by circulating and interacting with participants during lunch and break periods; encouraging participants to move about the room in an orderly fashion. Reports all adult participant injuries, accidents, illnesses, and behavior problems to the appropriate authority immediately, and as soon as reasonably possible completes written documentation of any of these occurrences.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsible to endorse a safe, clean, positive environment at all times for the consumers; and give engaging assistance to individuals which aide them in developing strategies that overcome obstacles and promote an opportunity for growth.
Education Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma, however, preference will be given to individuals that hold CNA, MA or Associates degrees in social services or related field.
Experience Required: Preferably 1-year experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
