Your Support of TradeWinds Events will help us to continue providing critical, professional services to allow individuals to empower themselves improving their quality of life.
For more than 50 years, TradeWinds Services has helped adults and children with developmental, behavioral, and physical disabilities, and/or healthcare needs achieve greater independence, dignity, and personal freedom.
In order to continue providing the personalized services that make a measurable difference in the lives of people with disabilities and their families in Northwest Indiana, TradeWinds relies on community support and hosts four major awareness-building events each year.
The need for our services in Northwest Indiana continues to grow, as well as the facilities necessary to provide these services:
Children Programs
Adult Programs

Bowling is a favorite outing for the adults at TradeWinds. You can bet they’ll be ready to show off their skills again this year!! Sponsor a team that will include three of your bowlers and one TradeWinds bowler. Come have a fun evening while you help support the well-being of adults with disabilities who reside in one of our group homes or supported living homes or apartments including those who are deaf or hard of hearing. For more information about the upcoming bowling event contact Deb Kiefer at 219-945-3128 or email events@tradewindservices.org.

We celebrate the TradeWinds children and adults who have made significant strides toward achieving their personal goals, our achievements and will recognize people who helped to make TradeWinds even better over this past year. The evening would not be complete without a return performance of the always-popular TradeWinds “Believe & Achieve” adult choir. An evening of socializing, entertainment and dancing to great music. Your support of TradeWinds events will help us to continue providing critical, professional services that allow individuals to empower themselves to improve their quality of life and realize their full potential.

Tee Up to Make a Difference!”
Each year TradeWinds board members, staff, and children from Summer & Functional Skills Camps welcome golfers for a fun-filled day that includes 18-holes of competitive golf, a cocktail hour, and an awards dinner with proceeds benefiting children’s services at TradeWinds.
As the only nonprofit in Northwest Indiana serving people who are deaf or are hard of hearing, Deaf Services has been providing support, education, advocacy and access to technology for individuals and their families faced with issues related to hearing loss since 1978. Interpreters are available to work in the community 24/7, and American Sign Language (ASL) classes are part of the ongoing efforts to improve communication and overall quality of life for the deaf and hard of hearing community.
For more information about ASL classes or support services, contact TradeWinds Deaf Services, 219-945-0100, Ext. 204, or email: deafservices@tradewindsnwi.org
