Description of Position: Responsible for coordinating agency services that enable an individual with developmental disabilities to receive a full range of appropriate services in a planned, coordinated, efficient and effective manner to promote the well being of the individual. Responsible for locating, managing, coordinating, and monitoring all proposed services for each individual. Responsible for making recommendations for needed medical, social, educational, and informal community supports needed by the eligible person within the day services programs at TradeWinds. Responsible for coordinating with external state case managers to assure funding is received adequate for planned services provided by TradeWinds.
Education Requirements: Minimum: Associate Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Description of Position: Prepare and perform check runs; reconcile accounts payable transactions; prepare analysis of accounts; maintain schedule/ledger for all reoccurring payable; maintain vendor accounts; review and verify invoices and check requests; receive, issue, and maintain ledger for all Purchase Order Requests; sort, code and match invoices, packing slips and purchase orders; track expenses and process expense reports; correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries; produce monthly reports; provide supporting documentation for audits; assist with month end closing; maintain compliance with required deadlines; and maintain all information with superior level of confidentiality. Must be able to organize and prioritize; pay attention to detail and accuracy; have good problem-solving skills, ability to meet deadlines; and must be a team player.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent some college preferred.
Experience Required: Knowledge of accounts payable, knowledge of general accounting procedures, knowledge of relevant accounting software proficient in data entry and management and 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.

Hours: Must be available Monday-Friday; 6:30 am- 6:00 pm (hours will vary)
Description of Position: The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in developing and implementing a program of activities that promote the social, emotional and physical development of each child enrolled in a group. The assistant teacher is also responsible for maintaining the health and safety of all children in their care.
Additional Responsibilities: Assist Lead Teacher in maintaining records on each child’s progress and development for the purpose of planning and compliance with Head Start Standards and utilization of Teaching Strategies Gold. Developing and implementing lesson plans in collaboration with the Lead Teacher using Creative Curriculum. Responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher with the full implementation of Head Start, Paths to Quality, Indiana Early Childcare Licencing Regulations, TradeWinds Services policies and procedures. Observe each child daily to assess skills in TS Gold. Establish a positive relationship with each child’s family and share information about the child’s day at the Center.
Education Requirements: Minimum CDA, Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education; Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
Department: Industries – Sewing
Hours: Must be available Monday – Friday (times may vary)
Description of Position: Sew disposable coveralls, cloth smocks, tunics, and women’s slacks. Industrial sewing machine used including single needle, double needle, lockstitch, blind stitch. Required to maintain high quality while increasing production level to 90% minimum of standard rate.
Education Requirements: High school diploma preferred.
Experience Required: Technical sewing skills required. Experience of 1-2 years industrial sewing preferred. Skill level will be tested at interview.
Position Reports To: Sewing Manager
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Description of Position: Supervise the adult participants in the lunchroom/break area during scheduled morning breaks, lunch periods and afternoon breaks. Monitors adult participants’ behaviors by circulating and interacting with participants during lunch and break periods; encouraging participants to move about the room in an orderly fashion. Reports all adult participant injuries, accidents, illnesses, and behavior problems to the appropriate authority immediately, and as soon as reasonably possible completes written documentation of any of these occurrences.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required: Prefer past experience working with children or adults with disabilities. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Hours: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Description of Position: Responsible to work cooperatively with the QDDP, Coordinator and other staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating programming, training, recreation, and therapeutic activities for the consumers of TradeWinds. Responsible to endorse a safe, clean, positive environment at all times for the consumers; and give engaging assistance to individuals which aide them in developing strategies that overcome obstacles and promote an opportunity for growth.
Education Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma, however, preference will be given to individuals that hold CNA, MA or Associates degrees in social services or related field.
Experience Required: Preferably 1-year experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.

Department: Group Homes
Description of Position: The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional is responsible for the monitoring, integration, implementation and coordination of services consisting of a comprehensive functional assessment of the program services. Ultimately, the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional is responsible for ensuring the provisions of a consistent and aggressive active treatment program for the consumers. The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional also supervises the House Managers and works cooperatively with the residential nurses.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related academic disciplines (e.g., psychology, sociology, education and human development).
Experience Required: Prior experience in developing and implementing individual programs, program evaluations, and working in a team environment. Must have good decision-making and time management skills and be responsible, mature, and flexible.
