Description of Position: Responsible for performing cash-related bookkeeping, process payments, maintain collections, reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies, residential liabilities, provide accounting and clerical support to accounting department, provide assistance and support to company personnel, and participate and assist in audits.
Education Requirements: Some college preferred.
Experience Required: Over three (3) years experience preferred. The ability to interpret various windows based software, learn other software programs, and ability to focus on repetitious data compilations.
Position Reports to: Controller
Additional Information: Shared office environment. Must be able to focus and block out distractions. Ability to organize must be detail orientated. Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background checks.

Description of Position: Responsible for the appearance, safety, and maintenance of main center and residential sites owned by TradeWinds. Plan & perform maintenance for all sites owned/operated by TradeWinds Services Inc.
Education Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of building trades, must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience Required: Experience in industrial and institutional maintenance repairs, experience with building trades, and ability to use power tools/maintenance equipment.
Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age and have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license with no suspensions for traffic infractions during the past three years. Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background checks.

Department: Residential Group Home
Hours: Full Time
Lead Direct Support Professional in the Residential Group Homes department, starting at $15.50/hour, requires flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Description of Position: Responsible to work cooperatively with the House Manager, QIDP, Coordinator & other staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating programming, training, recreation, and therapeutic activities for the consumers of TradeWinds. The Lead DSP is responsible to assist the House Manager in maintaining consistency in programming, participant care, and communications with staff. The person in this position has the responsibility to take over responsibilities when the House Manager is not available (vacation, sick, etc.) and to assist the House Manager in training, follow-up, and coaching the Direct Support Professionals. This position is expected to maintain DSP responsibilities as well.

This is a substitute position to fill in as needed, working with adults with developmental disabilities.
Description of Position: Responsible to train participants based on their individual pre-vocational goals as identified in their Individual Service Plans. In addition, provide training to enable the person served to maximize their performance on a variety of production jobs. Job accommodations and daily written documentation are required regarding participants’ progress and related service issues. Participation in consumer person-centered planning meetings is required.
Education Requirements: Minimum High school diploma or GED; post-secondary/training preferred.
Experience Required: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in education and/or teacher’s aide experience. Shipping experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task as well as effectively communicate both orally and written. Must be able to objectively and calmly handle crisis situations.

Respite Care offers caregivers of children and adults with disabilities the opportunity for a short-term break to care for themselves, spend time with other family members, or have the freedom to run errands without worry. Our Respite Care staff takes individuals with special needs on outings to community-based activities, shopping, bowling, theaters, etc. Respite care can also be provided in-home or at a TradeWinds Respite Apartment.

Description of Position: Supervise the adult participants in the lunchroom/break area during scheduled morning breaks, lunch periods and afternoon breaks. Monitors adult participants’ behaviors by circulating and interacting with participants during lunch and break periods; encouraging participants to move about the room in an orderly fashion. Reports all adult participant injuries, accidents, illnesses, and behavior problems to the appropriate authority immediately, and as soon as reasonably possible completes written documentation of any of these occurrences.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required: Prefer past experience working with children or adults with disabilities. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
