Investigator & Quality Compliance Lead

Department: Human Resources

Description of Position: The Investigator and Quality Compliance Lead is responsible for conducting investigations for the agency in compliance with all relevant regulations, including designating and leading an appropriate team comprised of staff and participants.  This position will also be responsible for keeping abreast of State regulations, reviewing and revising policies and procedures, designing and tracking training, reviewing and preparing crisis reports, conducting data-driven review meetings, and assisting with preparing the agency for CARF and BQIS surveys.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or other relevant fields.

Experience and Technical Skills: Experience leading teams; Computer experience; Experience social service setting preferred.

Pre-Vocational Coordinator

Department: Pre-Vocational Services

Hours: Full Time - Day shift (hours may vary)

Description of Position: Oversee Pre-Vocational Service and subcontracted Transportation Services remain in compliance with all State regulatory agencies and meet the needs of the adults enrolled.  Provide supervision of Pre-Voc Trainers,  Lunch Monitors, and Curriculum/Community Training staff in both the main center and TW East building.  Create, monitor and supervise the implementation of curriculum for Pre-Vocational programs.

Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education/Special Education, or related field.

Experience and Technical Skills Minimum three years experience working with people with disabilities. Curriculum writing experience preferred.

Case Manager

Department: Employment Services

Hours: Part-Time position - Monday - Friday

Description of Position: As a member of TradeWinds Services and an integral part of a diverse population of individuals with disabilities, candidate must be able to promote and support the attitudes, behaviors, knowledge, and skills necessary to work respectfully and effectively with each Participant as well as demonstrate the ability to address the needs of the individuals served.  Case Manager will be responsible for delivering case management services for individuals enrolled in the Employment Services department.

 Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.  Post-secondary education preferred.

Experience and Technical Skills One (1) to Three (3) years experience with individuals with disabilities, elderly, low-income and others.

QIDP – Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional

Department: Supported Living

Hours: Full Time - Hours Vary

Description of Position: The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional is responsible for the monitoring, integration, implementation, and coordination of services consisting of a comprehensive functional assessment of the program services. Ultimately, the QIDP is responsible for ensuring the provisions of a consistent and aggressive active treatment program for the consumers. The QIDP also supervises the Direct Support Professionals and works cooperatively with the residential center nurse.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related academic disciplines (e.g., psychology, sociology, education and human development).

Experience Required: Prior experience in developing and implementing individual programs, program evaluations, and working in a team environment. Must have good decision-making and time management skills and be responsible, mature, and flexible.

Director of ADAPT & Pre-Vocational Services

Department: ADAPT & Pre-Vocational Services

Hours: Full Time - Hours may vary

Oversee ADAPT (Adult Day Activity Program & Training), Pre-Vocational Services, and subcontracted transportation services to remain in compliance with all State regulatory agencies and meet the needs of the adults enrolled.  Provide oversight to ADAPT & Pre-Voc Trainers, Case Manager Lead,  ADAPT & Pre-Voc Case Managers, Lunch Monitors, and Community Volunteer Training staff in both the main center and TradeWinds East building.  Monitor implementation of curriculum for ADAPT and Pre-Vocational programs.  Track program evaluation outcome measures for each program.

Accounts Payable Processor

Department: Fiscal

Hours: Full Time - Hours Vary

Description of PositionPrepare and perform check runs; reconcile accounts payable transactions; prepare analysis of accounts; maintain schedule/ledger for all reoccurring payable; maintain vendor accounts; review and verify invoices and check requests; receive, issue, and maintain ledger for all Purchase Order Requests; sort, code and match invoices, packing slips and purchase orders; track expenses and process expense reports; correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries; produce monthly reports; provide supporting documentation for audits; assist with month end closing; maintain compliance with required deadlines; and maintain all information with superior level of confidentiality.  Must be able to organize and prioritize; pay attention to detail and accuracy; have good problem-solving skills, ability to meet deadlines; and must be a team player.

Education Requirements:      High School Diploma or equivalent some college preferred.

Experience Required:  Knowledge of accounts payable, knowledge of general accounting procedures, knowledge of relevant accounting software proficient in data entry and management and 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.

Sewing Operator

Department: Industries – Sewing

Hours: Must be available Monday – Friday (times may vary)

Description of Position: Sew disposable coveralls, cloth smocks, tunics, and women’s slacks. Industrial sewing machine used including single needle, double needle, lockstitch, blind stitch. Required to maintain high quality while increasing production level to 90% minimum of standard rate.

Education Requirements: High school diploma preferred.

Experience Required: Technical sewing skills required.  Experience of 1-2 years industrial sewing preferred. Skill level will be tested at interview.

Substitute Lunch Monitor

Department: Industries

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Description of Position: Supervise the adult participants in the lunchroom/break area during scheduled morning breaks, lunch periods and afternoon breaks. Monitors adult participants’ behaviors by circulating and interacting with participants during lunch and break periods; encouraging participants to move about the room in an orderly fashion. Reports all adult participant injuries, accidents, illnesses, and behavior problems to the appropriate authority immediately, and as soon as reasonably possible completes written documentation of any of these occurrences.

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required: Prefer past experience working with children or adults with disabilities. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Hours: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Description of Position: Responsible to work cooperatively with the QDDP, Coordinator and other staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating programming, training, recreation, and therapeutic activities for the consumers of TradeWinds. Responsible to endorse a safe, clean, positive environment at all times for the consumers; and give engaging assistance to individuals which aide them in developing strategies that overcome obstacles and promote an opportunity for growth.

Education Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma, however, preference will be given to individuals that hold CNA, MA or Associates degrees in social services or related field.
