Description of Position: Sew disposable coveralls, cloth smocks, tunics, and women’s slacks. Industrial sewing machine used including single needle, double needle, lockstitch, blind stitch. Required to maintain high quality while increasing production level to 90% minimum of standard rate.
Education Requirements: High school diploma preferred.
Experience Required: Technical sewing skills required. Experience of 1-2 years industrial sewing preferred. Skill level will be tested at interview.

Hours: Full Time - Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Description of Position: Responsible to train consumers based on their individual pre-vocational goals as identified in their Individual Service Plans. In addition, provide training to enable the person served to maximize their performance on a variety of production jobs. Job accommodations and daily written documentation are required regarding consumers’ progress and related service issues. Participation in consumer person-centered planning meetings is required.
Education Requirements: Minimum High school diploma or GED; post-secondary/training preferred.
Experience Required: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in education and/or teacher’s aide experience. Shipping experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task as well as effectively communicate both orally and written. Must be able to objectively and calmly handle crisis situations.
Position Reports to: Director of Pre-Vocational Services
Description of Position: Perform cash related bookkeeping, process payments, residential liabilities, and lend support to AR functions such as keying data, filing, etc. Process in-system invoices for residential liabilities and refunds, childcare voucher payments, grant billing and rent from rental properties. Enter billing information; track status of bills; prepare aged receivables report; follow up on and collect overdue receivables; perform month-end closing; maintain files; check bank deposits; post payments; maintain payment tracking system and perform month end closing procedures.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
Experience Required: Previous data entry experience, knowledge of Windows and ability to learn other software programs and ability to focus on repetitious data compilations.

Description of Position: Assisting individuals with disabilities employed in the community with job site training and job coaching related to assessments, employment advocacy, and other services needed to maintain their employment. Utilizing structured intervention techniques to help the participating employee learn to perform job tasks to the employer’s specification. Will perform Community Habilitation Individual Services (CHIO), which involves assisting participants in a manner that supports learning in the areas of self-care, sensory/motor development, socialization, daily living skills, communication, community living, and social skills. Community-based activities are intended to build relationships and natural supports.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Required: Prefer past experience working with adults with disabilities. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Additional Information: Must be able to pass motor vehicle report criteria, criminal background check, and drug screening.

Tradewinds Services, Inc, Residential Group Home department has a full-time position with flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. The House Manager is responsible for assisting the QIDP in client healthcare/nutrition and household management for a group home of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities include client finances, recreation, program services, family involvement, education/vocational programs, and staffing. Must have complete knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, communicate, and enforce them to staff. Must be able to train, coach, assign duties, meet goals and department expectations and encourage others. Key to this position is time management, exceptional oral, written and organizational skills. House Manager must also provide 16 hours per week of direct service and have a cell phone.
Educational Requirements: Prefer college degree or coursework in related fields such as Human Services, Psychology, or Social Work. The right person will have compassion and one-year plus experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities, preferred.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Description of Position: Supervise the adult participants in the lunchroom/break area during scheduled morning breaks, lunch periods and afternoon breaks. Monitors adult participants’ behaviors by circulating and interacting with participants during lunch and break periods; encouraging participants to move about the room in an orderly fashion. Reports all adult participant injuries, accidents, illnesses, and behavior problems to the appropriate authority immediately, and as soon as reasonably possible completes written documentation of any of these occurrences.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
