Description of Position: Must be available from 7:45 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Camp Assistants are responsible for supervising and caring for children and youth of varied abilities, ages 5 to 17 years, that are enrolled in our all-inclusive summer camp programs.  They are responsible for assisting with planning and implementing the curriculum in accordance with TradeWinds Services.  This position may include transporting children to and from field trip sites.

Requirements: 21 years of age or 2 years of college completed.

Experience Required:   Experience with school age children, school- based settings and/or special needs populations (preferred).

Industries Production Worker (Assembler)

 Industries Production Worker -Assembler – $10.00 per hour

Description of Position: Work directly with packers to assemble products as part of Industries production operations. Responsibilities include assembling and packaging a variety of products, supporting production flow, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks.

Position Responsibilities:

• Accurately assemble and package a variety of products, including but not limited to splinter removers, women’s cosmetics, shelving clips, and eye wash.
• Follow detailed assembly and packaging instructions to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
• Identify and track product lot numbers to maintain accurate packaging and production records.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficiency and product integrity.
• Inspect components and finished goods for defects or inconsistencies during the assembly process.
• Fold garments when needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of certificate of high school diploma preferred.
• Assembly experience preferred

Hours: Full-Time

This full-time position is flexible hours that include nights, weekends and holidays. The House Manager is responsible for assisting the QIDP in client healthcare/nutrition and household management for group home of adults with intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities include client finances, recreation, program services, family involvement, education/vocational programs, and staffing. Must have complete knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, communicate, and enforce them to staff. Must be able to train, coach, assign duties, meet goals and department expectations and encourage others. Key to this position is time management, exceptional oral, written and organizational skills. House Manager must also provide 16 hours per week of direct service and have a cell phone.

Prefer college degree or coursework in related fields in Human Services, Psychology, or Social Work. The right person will have compassion and one-year plus experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities, preferred.

Hours: As Needed - Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm

This is a substitute position to fill in as needed, working with adults with developmental disabilities.

Description of Position:   Responsible to train participants based on their individual pre-vocational goals as identified in their Individual Service Plans.  In addition, provide training to enable the person served to maximize their performance on a variety of production jobs.  Job accommodations and daily written documentation are required regarding participants’ progress and related service issues.  Participation in consumer person-centered planning meetings is required.

Education Requirements:   Minimum High school diploma or GED; post-secondary/training preferred.

Experience Required:  Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in education and/or teacher’s aide experience. Shipping experience preferred.  Must be able to multi-task as well as effectively communicate both orally and written.  Must be able to objectively and calmly handle crisis situations.
