Childcare Teacher 3-5 Years Old Room

Description of Position: Classroom management of children who are typically developing and children with special care needs. Supervise field trips, lesson planning and actively participate in daily learning and enrichment activities.  Feeding diapering and potty as well as following through on therapy recommendations necessary within the classroom setting.  The individual must possess creativity, enthusiasm, and strong leadership qualities best suited to craft an optimal learning environment.  Must be able to complete documentation as required by state regulations. Attend meetings with parents and/or department staff.  Review the work of aides and function independently in order to accomplish assignments, able to maintain confidentiality.

 

Education Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age.  Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education/or related fields.

 

Experience Required: Must have 3 months to one year experience in working with children in a childcare or therapeutic setting.  Must have good organizational skills.  Must have the ability to work with infants and young children. Must be able to respond properly to emergencies.  Key to this position is a positive attitude, team player spirit, and a lot of energy with the ability and willingness to participate in outdoor/physical activities.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Description of Position:   The school-based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides occupational therapy services to students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade within an educational environment. This position supports students’ participation, inclusion, and functional performance in school-related activities through collaboration with Occupational Therapists, educators, and other school staff. The ideal candidate is flexible, self-directed, and experienced in school-based or pediatric therapy services.

Hours: Must be available Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Requirements:

Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential, NBCOT certification, valid Indiana Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently, flexibility in diverse educational settings.

Experience Required: School-based or pediatric experience preferred

 Industries Production Worker -Assembler – $10.00 per hour

Description of Position: Work directly with packers to assemble products as part of Industries production operations. Responsibilities include assembling and packaging a variety of products, supporting production flow, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Accurately assemble and package a variety of products, including but not limited to splinter removers, women’s cosmetics, shelving clips, and eye wash.
  • Follow detailed assembly and packaging instructions to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Identify and track product lot numbers to maintain accurate packaging and production records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficiency and product integrity.
  • Inspect components and finished goods for defects or inconsistencies during the assembly process.
  • Fold garments when needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of certificate of high school diploma preferred.
  • Assembly experience preferred

Substitute ABLE/ADAPT Trainer

Department: Production

Hours: As Needed - Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm

This is a substitute position to fill in as needed, working with adults with developmental disabilities.

Description of Position:   Responsible to train participants based on their individual ABLE goals as identified in their Individual Service Plans.  In addition, provide training to enable the person served to maximize their performance on a variety of production jobs.  Job accommodations and daily written documentation are required regarding participants’ progress and related service issues.  Participation in consumer person-centered planning meetings is required.

Education Requirements:   Minimum High school diploma or GED; post-secondary/training preferred.

Experience Required:  Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in education and/or teacher’s aide experience. Shipping experience preferred.  Must be able to multi-task as well as effectively communicate both orally and written.  Must be able to objectively and calmly handle crisis situations.
