Transitional Vocational Training

What is Transitional Vocational Training?

TVT follows a rigorous, structured lesson plan daily, including workplace outings that all participants follow to obtain real-life and workplace skills.

Transitional Vocational Training (TVT) is for consumers who meet the following criteria:
• Vocational Rehabilitation non-participant
• Vocational Rehabilitation open case
• Unsuccessful Vocational Rehabilitation
closure.

TVT includes:
• Resume skills
• Mock interviews
• Job skills
• Social skills
• Employability skills
• On the job trainings
• Team building experiences
• Job exposure
• Entrepreneurship
• Food safety skills while running weekly café cart

Certified in First Aid, CPR, and Crisis Intervention, staff members assist with feeding, personal care, hygiene, and behavioral support
based on the individualized plans in place for
each participant.

Case managers are assigned and on-site for any additional support needed by either the
individual or family.
